We are currently seeking highly qualified candidate for a Viticulture Intern to join our team at 14 Hands Winery in Prosser, Washington. This person will have learning opportunities and practical training through hands-on participation related to Viticulture to promote professional development with a commitment to pursue excellence.

Duration of the internship May 2024 - September 2024 (flexible in accordance with university course schedule).

Viticulture Intern job responsibilities include:

  • Accurately collect viticulture field data which can include, but is not limited to:
  • Pest and disease levels and damage assessment
  • Cluster counts, cluster weights
  • Vine Counts, vine weights
  • Shoot elongation measurements

Required:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Completed degree or currently enrolled in a plant science or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English (Bilingual a plus)
  • Ability to work extended hours.

Your Compensation:
$19.00 - $24.00 an hour.

The rate for this role is $20.00/hr. for the duration of the internship. You may be eligible for a monthly housing stipend (taxes will be applied) if you are required to re-locate more than 50 miles from your current residence.
