MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced BC/BE Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physiatrist to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice in Yakima, WA. This position is a full-time outpatient role with supportive group and existing practice.


FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days

Salary: $305,000 - $315,000


Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred


Position Summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. This opportunity offers a full-service Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Clinic is supported by a large primary care referral base and affiliated community providers.

The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in providing comprehensive management of patients while delivering excellence in patient care and optimizing the patient experience. Dynamic communication across the spectrum of care and working in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment with the patient, the patient's family, and other providers are key requirements of this position. Additional skills preferred but not required are diagnostic ultrasound and electrodiagnosis.

The Physiatry practice is highly supported by the organization and offers patients comprehensive care including advanced imaging, injection therapy under fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance, physical therapy, and more. MultiCare is a recognized leader in the use of information technology such as EPIC, our Electronic Medical Record to keep our staff better connected throughout the healthcare system.

Together these providers serve the Pacific Northwest's patient referral base. Academic affiliations through the medical schools are available and strongly encouraged as well as research through the MultiCare IRB.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $284,039.00 - $284,039.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
