This role is an onsite role and the selected individual will be working in a Sr. CPSO (Contractor Program Security Officer) role and assisting with/addressing compliance of the SAP (Special Access Programs) as well as SCI programs.

Responsible for the security administration, management and operations of the facilities associated to these programs. The Sr. CPSO is the primary interface with Aerospace Program Management and government agencies/customers regarding program security matters and requirements. Responsible for providing security support ensuring classified information is properly safeguarded and will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies and directives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate with the PSO and GPM/CPM to create a secure environment for SAP operations.
  • Manage security operations within their assigned activity, organization, or office
  • Work with the ISSM/ISSO to safeguard Information Systems in the SAPF and ensures adherence to any applicable laws as well as any SCI or SAP security policies and requirements
  • Supports enterprise SAP discussions and activities to comply with corporate and program expectations and requirements and assist other office locations as needed
  • Establish and conduct training for SAP-accessed individuals
  • Coordinates initial access eligibility determinations and creates PARs or SCI nominations
  • Maintain personnel security records for SAP and SCI related programs to include the use of DISS, and other customer systems of record
  • Conducts pre- and post-travel briefings and oversees foreign travel and contact reporting
  • Coordinates the visitor control process for SAP meetings
  • Provides initial program indoctrination security briefing and security education / refreshers training
  • Conduct annual self-inspections and submit corrective action plans
  • Creates, updates, and maintains SOPs for security policies unique to their facilities and SAP
  • Oversee transmission of SAP material using approved methods
  • Provide courier instructions and training to SAP-briefed couriers
  • Develop transportation plans and reproduction procedures
  • Establish and ensure compliance with the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program.
  • Conduct briefings on reporting requirements and security incidents
  • Maintain administrative security documentation
  • Assist the customer in the development of Program Protection Plans
  • Prepare DD Form 254 and manage SAP material inventory and disposition.
  • Coordinates with Physical Security on any program construction needs/modifications to the facility
  • Work with junior level security officers to balance multiple customer workloads and ensure coverage
  • Conduct security inquiries, identify suspected security infractions and violations, develop reports, and make recommendations to the government security team for corrective action(s)
  • Develop, coordinate, submit for approval, and implement entry/exit inspection procedures for the facility
  • Execute and document completion of an annual physical inventory of Top-Secret material under the control of the facility's registry
  • Executing DoD and IC policies: Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures
  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for Level III:

  • 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma
  • Current TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
  • Previous CPSO experience
  • Expert Knowledgeable of the DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP manuals and ICD series manuals

Minimum Requirements for Level IV:

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma
  • All mentioned requirements listed above for Level III
